DESCENT into AVERNUS #84

In an attempt to overcome the stifling heatwave, Finn polymorphs into a quetzalcoatlus and flies Vinkee & Stedd up, up, up into the atmosphere. About 8,000 feet up, to be precise. The heat doesn't end there, but there is lightning, so... not better. But the Damned Fools push on, ever diligent in their quest to reach the Arches of Ulloch in pursuit of Zariel's Sword. In Session 11 of The CTHULHU FILES, Casefile 4: Slow Boat to China, our heroes get to the bottom—literally—of a huge chunk of the mystery they've been investigating... and while they don't have all the answers, they appear to have made significant strides toward thwarting whatever evil machinations may have been in the works. All they have to do now is tie up some loose ends. They totally have nothing left to worry about. ...Totally.

CTHULHU FILES #20

The slow crawl toward Shanghai and/or madness resumes in Session 10 of THE CTHULHU FILES, Casefile Four: Slow Boat to China. Fresh off a wonderful (at first) and horrifying (ultimately) diversion in Honolulu, the SS President Coolidge, with our heroes aboard, is back on the high seas. It takes our gang a little while to get back in the swing of things, investigation-wise, but the lower decks are calling. And calling... and calling. Who will answer?

DESCENT into AVERNUS #83

The Damned Fools are struck with a sudden heatwave, causing exhaustion and extreme discomfort. Aego uses Sending to reach out to some past associates, seeking advice. But when spells start going strangely awry, it becomes clear some other force is at work here. The confrontation that ensues has potentially devastating consequences. How can you tell it's Session Nine of DICELORE's The CTHULHU FILES, Casefile Four: Slow Boat to China? Because the SS President Coolidge has docked in Honolulu, halfway to Shanghai, and our heroes get to enjoy some much needed R&R on the island with good ol' Doc Feelgood, an original character from our first casefile, "The Crimson Letters". Sightseeing, shopping, and a full luau await. Surely nothing bad could happen here... right?
